Front Street United Methodist Church is a member of The United Methodist Church. Becoming a member of The UMC and specifically of Front Street UMC means dedicating one’s life to the pursuit of holiness in many ways. To be clear, you do not have to be a member of Front Street UMC or another United Methodist Church in order to attend worship services or participate in most mission/service projects. We hope and pray that your decision to become a member stems from your experience of love and joy as you interact with us, and that you want to seek a deeper connection with the church and with God. At the same time, membership is a time for the church to reaffirm the vows below and commit to your spiritual growth and maturity.
The UMC vows:
The UMC participation:
Members commit themselves to serving the church through their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.
The UMC preparation:
Membership into The UMC goes hand in hand with membership into Christ’s Holy Body through baptism. The United Methodist Church accepts baptisms from many Christian denominations and forms of baptism. To learn more about baptism click here. To learn more about baptism at Front Street contact the church office.
